Overview: Mr. Shi is a retired widower in Beijing. When her daughter Yilan, who lives in the U.S., divorces, decided on his visit to the small town where she works as a librarian. His intention is to stay with it until its aid to recover from the trauma. Mr Shi likes to tell people that meets in americas he is a "rocket scientist," enjoying his attention. But Yilan is less enthusiastic about their shows, nor is it interested in his plan to rescue his marriage and rebuild their lives. Mr Shi insists find out the reason for divorce, Yilan begins to avoid him.
