Overview: At work, inside the burning buildings, the captain Caleb Holt lives by the old adage of patchwork: Never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, who live by their own rules. After seven years of marriage, Caleb and Catherine Holt have drifted so far apart that wishes Catherine had never married. Neither one understands the pressures facing the other - that as a firefighter and she as the director of public relations for a hospital.
