Overview: At work, inside the burning buildings, the captain Caleb Holt lives by the old adage of patchwork: Never leave your partner behind. At home, in the cooling embers of his marriage, who live by their own rules. After seven years of marriage, Caleb and Catherine Holt have drifted so far apart that wishes Catherine had never married. Neither one understands the pressures facing the other - that as a firefighter and she as the director of public relations for a hospital. Regular arguments over jobs, finance, domestic work and outside interests they have prepared both to move to something with more spark. As the couple prepares to enter divorce proceedings, Caleb ¿s father challenges his son to commit to a 40 day experiment he calls "[Love Dare." He wondered if it still worth the effort, Caleb agreement, but more by his father more than good for their marriage. When Caleb discovers the journal of the problems are linked to their parents' new faith, and his limited interest is more attenuated.
