Overview: Set in the far north coast of California and along the margins of society is a region dubbed "The Lost Coast", but geographically known as Humboldt County. It is there between the state of Redwood impressive forests of marijuana that farmers coexist peacefully within the rural community. It is there that Peter Hadley, a promising but firmly wound UCLA-med student, was stranded when deposited in the multi-generational family home of the free spirit Bogart, following a drunken one-night stand. Frustrated and disillusioned with his life after his teacher father is not an important consideration, the unworldly Peter in the first host still rejects the eccentric pot-smoking strangers, together with its eclectic group of friends and fellow farmers, but soon which allows embraced by his ideals and begins to see life a little more clear: despite the smoke.
