Overview: Relegated to the role of refugees in their own country when the levees broke, residents of New Orleans Kimberly Scott Roberts and document their harrowing struggle against the forces of nature and the evils of man, as nobly attempt to rebuild their lives in the midst of a major natural disaster ever to befall the United States. Kimberly Rios Roberts is a musician and filmmaker who lives in New Orleans with her husband, Scott, when the force of Hurricane Katrina transformed their once-happy hometown in a waterlogged wasteland. Following the catastrophe, the news every night was filled with images of looting and chaos. Now, as the masses finally get the chance to witness the events from a perspective of insider trading, which quickly becomes evident that the rampaging waters were only the beginning of the problem, and that the ineptitude of government and the media to cope with the disaster did almost as much damage to New Orleans as the forces of Mother Nature.
