Overview: Jan Dite, the young waiter provincial wants to be a millionaire. Armed with this knowledge and an irrepressible desire to please leave a pub in a brothel luxury, and finally pass an elegant Art Nouveau of Prague restaurant. But at the end of 1930, things are changing: Hitler took the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia and break apart. January falls in love with Liz (Julia Jentsch), a Sudeten German proud of his Aryan blood.
