Overview: Emma Watson, Yasmin Paige, and Lucy Boynton director holder Sandra Goldbach has done for television adaptation of author Noel Streatfield the classic novel of the same name. The scene is London 1930. Orphans Pauline (Watson), Petrova (Paige) and Posy fossils (Boynton) have been approved by the eccentric Professor explorer Brown (aka "gum"), and raised as sisters benevolent niece Sylvia Brown (Emilia Fox). Before the three girls meet their adoptive father adventurous, however, disappears rubber for over a decade. Despite his faithful retainer Nana (Victoria) does his best to keep the family afloat, Sylvia simply is not enough for the demands of raising a family, and his health began to deteriorate. Finally, faced with declining financial resources, it is decided to take in guests. Those who arrive as guests from home include the lively academic Smith (Harriet Walter) and Dr. Jakes (Gemma Jones), more curves dance Theo Dane (Lucy Cohu) and class-but-thoughtful Simpson (Marc Warren). As non-traditional family begins to see their lives changed by these newcomers in ways that had never anticipated, Pauline, Petrova, Posy and enroll in the local school theater and was dedicated to establish themselves as stars of stage . But while Pauline dreams of becoming a world famous actress and Posy yearns to become a graceful dancer, Petrova just want to heaven as aviator.
