Overview: Four New York City police officers are dead, killed in an ambush that has all the police department on alert and on edge. With a police murderer on the loose and both riding on the case, the Chief of Manhattan Detectives Francis Tierney, Sr. asks his son, Detective Ray Tierney, to lead the investigation. Ray reluctantly takes on the case to the police knowing that they were lost had served under his brother, Francis Tierney, Jr., and along with his brother-in-law, Jimmy Egan. On the surface, it looked like a routine drug bust gone terribly, tragically wrong. However, as Ray deepens even further in the case, she realizes that someone had to take off the tip of drug traffickers that the police are coming. Someone on the inside. Worse yet, the evidence begins to point unthinkable in one direction: his own brother and brother-in-law. As the questions mount, the case of the forces of the family to choose between their loyalties to one another and their loyalty to the department.
